"Bone for Life" and Strength
Training: A Winning Combination
To get the most from strengthening exercises, yoga, or daily
activity, our spines need to be well aligned, de-compressed,
and working in
harmony with the rest of our body. Otherwise,
we tend to bring unhelpful habits into our workout and set
up the conditions
for strain. In
this workshop, we will add
new meaning to the concept of “warm-ups” as we explore using
‘Bones for Life’
movement processes to prepare for and enhance strength
training. You
will leave with a mini strengthening sequence
to practice at home.

I draw from my background as an Occupational Therapist and from my training in the Feldenkrais Method® , The Dellagrotte Method of Core Movement Integration, Bones for Life®, and experiential anatomy.
